Cyprus Int'l Film Festival screens 4 Iranian films

The 13th edition of the Cyprus International Film Festival (CYIFF) has screened four films by Iranian filmmakers.

Being underway in the cities of Nicosia and Paphos, various sections of the festival screened 'Wander about Me' by Ghazaleh Soltani, 'Retouch' by Kaveh Mazaheri, 'Red Peace' by Rahim Toufan and 'Haven' by Hessam Eslami.

Some of the Iranian filmmakers are in Cyprus in order to attend Q&A sessions being arranged after screening of their films.

'Wander about Me' narrates the story of a woman who tries to reach her goals in Tehran as she is pushing 30.

'Retouch' is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.

The CYIFF is an annual film festival held in Cyprus. The festival takes place in cooperation with the Cultural International Festivals.

The International Film Festival of Cyprus is in operation since 2006 as an independent non-profit organization.

The event is slated for June 23-July 1, 2018.
